WOW Host Club hurt me this week.
I didn't know whether I should laugh or cry, though I did start to lose it when Honey and the Twins starting chasing Haruhi around shouting "CALL US ONEESAN".

UGH, EVERY ONE'S BEEN GETTING INTO HOST CLUB AND LOVELESS AND I'M OUT HERE IN THE DARK GOING, "WAIT, WHAT IS THIS? HUH? OMG, THOSE TWINS ARE EVERYWHERE, WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THEM? OMG, KITTY EARS FOR THE LOVELESS PEOPLE, WHAT???"

At least I still kind of know what's going on in KHII... I told myself I would never play it, but...augh, the fangirls are telling me things that make me want to play it so bad. T____T

Oh man you make my heart friggin BLEED, saying Host Club and Loveless in the same breath like that. NO! NO NO NO NO NO!!!
Ouran High School Host Club is amazingly entertaining and cute, it makes fun of itself and of all shoujo and bishounen stereotypes while communicating a coherent storyline with strong and well developed characters. Loveless is pretty crap with a bunch of little boys with kitty ears wearing slutty clothing. THEY DO NOT COMPARE.

Well, I just found out about Host Club A FEW DAYS AGO, so I really have NO IDEA about it. Meanwhile, I've seen Loveless around for a few months, and your summary is basically what I thought, which is why I never got into it and why I'm still disturbed when people on my friends list post stuff about it like, "OMG, I LOVE LOVELESS!!!"

I thought the Loveless manga was pretty good...D: At least, judging by the first licensed volume, which is all I've read. I do not watch anime based on manga anymore. D: And I've heard of Host Club...I want to see it (is there a manga for it too? I might make an exception here), but haven't had the willpower to be a pirate. I'm sure I'll buy it when it gets licensed and be all behind and shit and everyone will spoil it for me. Que sera, sera...

Sorry for emo'ing in your journal. *gets a mop*

PS: On a better note, seeing you on LJ again has inspired me to work on the Kabuto pic you asked for! Also, your DN icon amuses me!

PPS: I've got a crush on Honey already just going by pics I've seen. I'll be sad if that changes once I get to know the characters, he looks so lovable.

I guess Loveless was just not to my taste XD I did try to read it, and didn't get far. Ouran Host Club has a manga as well, which is liscensed, but the anime is actually far better. I found the manga confusing and the art style no where near as appealing.

That doesn't come close to the definition of emo that I know XD No apologies necessary!!

Oh man, I'll be looking forward to that ;__; No pressure, though, I wouldn't want that XD
Honey certainly has his own brand of charm XD Not what I look for exactly, but decide for yourself once you see the series!

Well you talked me into it. I'll try looking into the Host Club anime and maybe a bit of the manga, I'm sure I'd like one or both (it would take a lot for me not to). The only problem I have with all anime/manga is waiting for new chapters/episodes...;_;
