Why are Roku and Souzen so adorable. Seriously. Why. Throwing grass on face. It's details like this, that go along perfectly with the really monumental content of the episode (and the Zuko/Aang relationship hints that I love teehee) that make me love this series.

Okay that mudfight was obviously fanservice and I am a fan and I feel serviced. Toph is the cutest thing in the world and I would like her and Katara to do some making out.
Also, SparkySparkyBoomMan aka Combustion Man reminds me of those mans characters that I try to make objectively horrifying but turn out to be the bitchiest and least scary people ever. I am so not threatened, but he is kind of cute. Also the Aang and Sokka interaction in this episode was the cutest thing. Aang what the fuck why are you so cute today. Seriously, I actually bought it when he shouted "SPARKY SPARKY BOOM MAN", and I wouldn't have expected to.

Jesus, scary shit much. I LOVED ...Hana? Hama? I think her name is Hama, but someone correct me, as a character, she was a terrific and really intense addition to the environment. Avatar once again alludes to very real and very serious situations while being extremely tasteful, I appreciated it a great deal.

I have been reading spoilers but refraining from downloading (I'm waiting to download until I can get the whole season in one go). But these episodes are GUH, from what I hear. Just watched 306 'cause it was on, and just...I have no words. All the words I had are over in my "as-I-watch" post. And it's the one episode where I am sorely tempted to download and watch it again and again and again, because I know there are things I missed.

06 was amazing. The Zuko/Aang parallels made my OTP senses tingle with excitement and joy, and Roku and Souzen really had a very intense and amazing friendship. Being the Berserk junkie I am, I'm heavily into BETRAYALS and STRONG BROTHERHOOD BONDS THAT GO DOWN THE SHITTER. So this hit many of my storytelling kinks.

07 was waekl;aw;elwe. Katara and Toph really are so freakin' adorable together, you know? ♥ Toph is crushing on the wrong Water Tribe sibling, because Katara is just. Like. They have such hot tension at times, but they are also always comforting to each other? It's so cute.

08 HANA WAS REALLY HOT WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG, WTF

Gahshflsk yeah Avatar has great relationships, and it does girlslash in the best way <33 AND YEAH I NOTICED THIS ABOUT HANA. THE HOT. It translated pretty well to her old version too I have to say but MAYBE I JUST HAVE A THING FOR OLD PEOPLE *GLANCES AT IROH* YEAH. THAT'S HOT.

I must say, I have become so in love with the Avatar series. And seeing this posts makes me realize that I am SO BEHIND since I've gone off on vacation to San Francisco and Yaoi-Con.
Speaking of Yaoi-con, and it pissed me off at the time, there were some totally awesome Avatar cosplayers there and I DIDN'T HAVE MY CAMERA. =_=;; It was a whole group together of Sokka, Zuko, Toph, and Uncle. They were so full of win, especially the Sokka, because the cosplayer really shaved their hair like his. But DAMNIT, I wish I had my camera on me. They were so awesome. ;_;
