soltian1] What is your pen name? Pen hahaha funny. Soltian.
2] How did you get the name? I started using it a few years ago when my sister and I were writing a fantasy story of sorts.....Soltian was the name of a circus horse I thought up, but he got cut out of the story anyway. I had the name on Yahoo! and it wasn't common, so I just started using it everywhere and thus, use it automatically.
3] Do you use PC or Mac? PC.
4] What software you use most often? Err...in general AIM, for art most often...hmm, paint chat or Photoshop at this point I guess.
5] Do you use mouse, or tablet? Mouse.
6] The color you use most often is? Green? Maybe...yeah probably green...
7] What area of the pictures do you put most effort into? Hands, Feet, and expression.
8] How long does it take you do draw a picture? A good one can range from two to eight hours, a really complicated one can go more than that....a doodle takes two to fifteen minutes.
9] Do you keep your rough drafts? The fuck is a rough draft? I draw over my sketches and develop them o_O I don't plan things out that far ahead.
10] What kind of font do you use most often? Courier New, biyatch <3
11] What's the dpi when you scan? 300 yeah.
12] Do you do anything else when you're drawing pictures? Not really. I can listen to music, but I can't really multitask beyond that. I get distracted.
13] How many pictures do you draw in a month? About twenty real things. Tons of doodles sure, but in the twenty, twenty three range for real works.
14] What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on? Printer paper if I'm at school, my sketchbook paper if I'm anywhere else, and watercolor paper if I'm at home and planning to paint.
15] What kind of paper do you use for sketches and drafts? What the fuck? I don't DO sketches or drafts! Shut the hell up with that question!
16] How long does it take to ink something? Err.....I guess uh....forty minutes? Thirty? I don't know.
17] Do you do doujinshi or original manga? Sort of. Don't feel like going into detail with that one.
18] Do you like doujinshi? Is it fun making it? ....I don't make doujinshi...
19] Ever submitted anything to a magazine? Yeah.
20] Did it get published? Don't think so.
21] Who are your favorite artists? On DA they're all in my "art worship" box thinger...those are my favorites. Off DA I'm not sure. Kishimoto gets up there somewhere really high though, I would like to worship that man.
22] What's your favorite Anime/Manga? Naruto with no competition whatsoever.
23] Favorite Character? Naruto and Lee rank first.
24] Any artists that you'd like to draw like? Not really, but there are certain techniques I'd like to pick up.....CoralSnake, Agnes, and Animatrix all have inking skills I envy. I want to ink that well.
25] Do you buy books a lot? No.
26] Did you ever buy a book to inspire you to draw? No.
27] Any video games you enjoy? FFVII, Kingdom Hearts, and any LoZ game in existence, thanks <3

29] Do you have a favorite writer? Not really no.
30] Any books you really enjoy? His Dark Materials, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter is entertaining.
31] Do you write fanfics? I try my best to suppress that urge whenever it comes up.
32] Any music that you often listen to while drawing? Anything that comes up on my playlist I guess.
33] Any recommended songs? FrouFrou, lots of FrouFrou...Salvation by the Cranberries, The Way We Get By by Spoon (THX FOR THAT ONE ED I'M ADDICTED NOW THANKSTH SO MUCH!), In My Life by the Beatles, and My Favorite Chords by the Weakerthans.
34] Any websites that you totally admire? FALSALUNA. YES. PRAISE BE TO THAT WOMAN SHE IS THE SAVIOR.
35] Do you have any sites you want to go to everyday? DA is the only one I'm seriously addicted to. I can do without all the others.
36] What is your dream site like? DA gets very close.....
37] Do you like your own art? Yeah, I do.
38] What do you enjoy watching on TV? What TV haha that's funny. I have a TV?
39] Favorite celebrity? I dunno, Johnny Depp is completely adorable, but beyond that not much interest.

43] Any places you like to shop at? Art stores. I like to shop at art stores. Not only do they have lovely stock, but for some reason they're always so pleasant inside.

45] Any programs you use often for email? Any electronic pets? No I don't use any programs for email, just Yahoo. I'm sophisticated, I know. I have some dying Neopets that are going to have their like...fourth birthday soon or something.
46] Are you a computer expert? No, but my standards of "expert" are a little high....
47] Want to become a professional artist? Yes. I'm prepared to face the odds too, because art is what I love and that's how I want to make my living.
48] Any other jobs you're interested in, besides an illustrator? Not really...there could be something out there I just haven't discovered though.
49] Any other specialties besides drawing? Nah. I hyper focus, it's a....fault and a strength all at once.
50] Do you like to watch movies? Not in particular.

52] Have you ever entered art contests? A few. I'm planning on entering another, maybe a few more.
53] When did you start drawing seriously? Seriously....end of ninth grade, beginning of tenth, the summer in between. Around there.
54] Anything that you often use as a reference when you draw? No. I have never been able to use references, they confuse me.
55] Have you met any of your online fans? Fans....? Wow that's a strong word. Makes me out to be some kind of celebrity or something. I should just replace that with "Online friends". And yes, a couple.
56] You have a lot of pen pals? I do write a few of my loves, but I IM everyone so uh...yeah, depends on your definition of "pen pal".
57] You have a lot of friends who draw? Yes I do. I tend to gravitate towards having friends that are artistically inclined to begin with. Most of my friends draw.
58] What time do you usually go online? When I get home from school or where ever else I am.
59] Do you like to go to chat rooms? Only when my friends make them.
60] Do you have your own computer? Yes, and it's my beloved >3< CHU!
61] What would you say to the person you admire? .....huhuhuhuhu I know where you live now.
62] Do you think of things when you draw? ....I always think of things. The hell.
63] Have you drawn badly because you think too much? No. Absolutely not. If anything it helps.

65] Where do you often hang out? Shut the fuck up, I don't care for this "hanging out" the society seems so fond of.
66] Do you have any artists that you don't like too much? CLAMP, or any art style that goes for something overly pretty but in no way expressive or creative.
67] Situations in which you really don't like being online? Yeah, when I'm superbly pissed and snap at anyone who dares talk to me....or when I'm comatose.

71] What’s the first picture you've ever shown to the public online? Hm. I don't know...oh yeah! My first oekaki XD Sick....

73] Has your drawing style changed a lot? ..................Just a LITTLE.
74] How does it usually change? Gradually, so that I don't really notice it day to day...but after about a week or week and a half I can see a difference.
75] Have you experienced artists block before? YES. I. HATE. IT.
76] How did you escape from it? I doodle constantly until something comes out right, and then it's like HEY-YA ITS GONE! That's how it was anyhow. Now I have like, chronic art block.
77] What happens when you have artists block? Uh....I can't....draw? I mean I do, but I hate it all....it just comes out badly.
78] Any artists that have influenced you a lot? Kishimoto I guess...
79] What made you start drawing? Gundam Wing. Yeah that was before Pokemon....though that's what made me start drawing regularly.

81] Where did your site name come from? Because I like pencils a lot?
82] What do you think about net manners? They're flexible...I can take a lot of netspeak and cursing and insults and whatnot if someone is joking, but if they use "u" in serious conversation I feel the need to have a TALK with them.

84] Ever thought about quitting your webpage? Well I want to kind of change it around but not give up on it....
