Christ, school starts in two days...no more drawing what I want all the time! Here's a collection of sketches left over from the summer <3


Both of these are kissenliebe's characters, Bay and Stea <3


These fatties have been consuming my summer, so I did a chart of all the OCs kissenliebe and I share <3 Everyone with a (k) in front of their name belongs to her, the rest are mine :)


All the western-comic-based fatties I did this summer. Spiderman, X-Men:Evo, and Watchmen. I plan to do more X-Men, but school caught up to me too quickly, so I just did my absolute favorites so far.

Oh god I had to doubletake my own post to figure out what you were talking about. I actually wrote a ficlet to go along with that image that explains it...but only if you're like...way deep into PoT fandom, and crack pairings in PoT fandom at that XD

curious pairing for Scotty you have there. I haven't watched Evo but in the regular continuity, it's true that him and Lex have that constant bitching that somehow...

Thanks! I've been doing some stuff that's...oddly softcore, for me, anyway XD It's funny how Yuuta's hand is acting as a "censor" bar on something I'm actually not shy about drawing, but just didn't anyway.

I'm the opposite! I have no idea how they interact in the regular continuity, all I know is Evolution. I assumed from what I've read that they gave Alex a slightly friendlier and warmer disposition than he usually has, though; the few episodes he's in he's just kind of obsessed with bonding with Scott.

I'm glad you like the fatties <3 They're so much fun to draw XD

In short, the Summers family is screwed since the Middle Ages and Alex suffers from a huge complex of the little brother while, given all the shit Scott got from life, it doesn't make a lot of sense for him to be envious of his brother.
No clue about Evo, but I've always wished for him to be a little more warm with Scott, he needs a brother to take care/rely on more than the average =)

Interesting...sounds dramatic XD And seriously, what IS there to be jealous of? Scott's life always SUCKS, and his powers (while useful) are really crippling, whereas Alex can pretty much do whatever he wants with his. What's to complain about?
In Evolution Alex and Scott were separated very young by a plane crash that killed their parents, but they both survived while thinking the other was dead. Xavier picks Alex's signal up in Hawaii when his mutant powers start to manifest, and Scott is like HOLY SHIT THAT'S MY BROTHER and their reunion is like saccharin sweet. Turns out while Scott was pretty much raised by the Professor, or so it seems, Alex was adopted by a well off family that lives in Hawaii and he pretty much just surfs all the time. Scott visits him regularly and kind of pines for him to join the Institute, but Alex turns him down (and honestly, who can blame him..?)

Thanks! I've always been fond of chibis with beady little eyes and fat little bodies, so I keep trying to perfect my own version of that XD And I'm glad the sketches aren't boring, sometimes I worry that unfinished/draft work isn't much fun to look at.

*Laughs* I KNOW, right? I feel like a freak too! Cartoons and comic books are my regular MO, but Mad Men caught my eye, what can I say? I just love good characters, and Mad Men has them, whereas other shows of that "type"...don't, really.
In any case, thank you so much! I hope your ovaries have recovered, though, it really sucks when those get sore from cute things :(
