The Beatles Yellow Submarine.
Oh, wait. The world really IS ending in 2012.

That just makes me so ill. Why are they ruining such an amazing movie?

Oh, inappropriate remakes/sequels don't always taint the originals.

Hopefully that's the case, but seeing as how the Beatles are marketed, the worst thing that can happen to the original is that it'd be forgotten in favor of this new thing.

Yeahhhhh I...don't see any reason why future generations are going to need a replacement for the original 2D masterpiece. Especially shiny Disney 3D. Barf.

....WHAAAA? Oh my god. XD What the fuck could the point possibly be without the Beatles?

I never do these things, but

Actually, this one will have more beatle involvement than the last one (the beatles only appeared at the end, they didn't do their own voices or anything).

It is still an abomination.

Oh, did we mention it's going to be in 3D computer animation?

Oh, really? I haven't actually seen the original; I gathered it centered on the Beatles. All right-- well, perhaps the remake won't be totally superfluous.

Yeah, the Beatles hired voice actors for the original film, even though they were all present and accounted for at the time; they felt that animation pros would do a better job. The obsession with newer, shinier, 3D-ier is what really gets my goat, since the animation of this movie is some truly incredible stuff.

I know, right. The original is so beautiful. I still watch it from time to time and it's always fresh.

LOl just cause something /shouldn't/ be remade doesn't mean it /won't/ be remade.

Preeettty much! There have been a lot of horrible remakes in the world, this is just one of many.

HHNNGGGGGH

I did not even see the first one but this is just ARGH. I guess we won't know until it comes out, but it's Disney.

Just hope it brings renewed interest in the classic film. That's the one thing I see remakes as good for.

hahah, that icon is cute and appropriate (teehee). i'm pretty good. trying to find a job at the moment in ghetto ass charlotte which is not fun. trying to decide what i want to do when i grow up (still)! i see you're near the end of your school career? seriously that is exciting omg. i am jealous! i'm thinking about trying to become a tattoo artist or a professional drifter (as in this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5srJiXjsYQ)). i just lack money and time! mostly money.

YEAH I GRADUATED IT WAS AWESOME! Hah me and my traditional academia. God, jobs. Yeah, I have one, but it's not very good, and I'm looking for a new one, and I....totally sympathize, not having a job sucks, I hope you can get one as a tattoo artist! Any opportunities for that where you are?

weeelll there are a butt load of tattoo shops around here. i haven't actually looked into any of them yet. i need to get a portfolio together first. and get a real job that pays. but i really am seriously considering learning to drift. well, i want to learn anyway, but becoming a professional (and being a chick helps) would be really awesome. my boyfriend is an excellent driver and will bestow upon me excellent driving tips. what kind of job do you have right now? what are you looking to go into?

by the way.... if you play video games at all.... and happen to have an xbox 360...... you should really play Mass Effect 1 & 2 so i can gush to you about it and so you can draw hot alien pr0n and i can buy it from you. *w* because oh my god am i ever obsessed with that game.

Porfoliossss lol those are really hard. I can help you out with it if you need any advice! Er, not that it's exactly the same process, but you know what I mean. DRIFTING SOUNDS REALLY AWESOME. I LOOKED AT THE VIDEO AND THAT MUST BE LIKE A ROLLER COASTER...EVERY DAY. Keep me updated! And like..take videos of yourself doing it as promotion I guess. ASH THE INCREDIBLE.

Right now I'm still at my old job on campus working security. It's a sweet, cushy, boring deal. It keeps me in my apartment and food in my gut, but I'm eagerly searching for the next step - full time illustrator doing...ANYTHING would be ideal, until the point in life where I can get enough freelance work to legitimately quit a day job.

Ughslfksj I have heard so much about it but I do not have xbox anything does it come for any other system?? I WANT TO PLAY IT SO BAD I FEEL A STRONG URGE FOR IT I JUST HAVE NO ACCESS.

hahaha i can so picture you doodling in a small, cramped office hunched over behind a fuzzy black and white tv screen. very vivid image. but uhhhh portfolio..... i haven't really even looked into any tattoo shops around here. it's mostly a serious thought. thanks for the offer, though! if you know anyone who is a tattoo artist or anything.... i really don't know what to put in a tattoo portfolio. i'm just assuming it would be designs for tattoos that i would do. i've actually come up with a few for myself that i haven't gotten done yet. as for the drifting..... i will totally take videos of myself doing it. which hopefully will be sooner rather than later. arrrgh. we're sort of selling our car right now. sort of means that my boyfriend put it on ebay to see how much he could get for it. it's kind of worth a lot, but we don't know how much it would sell for in this area. IF we sell this car, i'm really hoping to get a merkur xr4ti, which would be excellent for drifting. once the rear end is welded, that is. they don't have limited slip differentials, which means they only do one wheeled burn outs. in order to drift i will need a car that can do two wheeled burn outs and the like. hah! bet you didn't think you'd learn anything about cars today! i fucking love cars.

as far as i can see on amazon.com..... mass effect is an xbox and pc game. i'm not sure if they're bringing it to ps3 or not. and in order to play on the computer i'm pretty sure you'd need a bad ass video card and all that technical geek stuff. i don't really have any knowledge in that area though.... you can get xboxs for really cheap now though! and there are so many good games for it!

also because i want to share! this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/ereku/meehhhh.jpg), this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/ereku/anthoniiiii.jpg), and this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/ereku/dat001.jpg)! those are all only a few days old. that's our beautiful car! it's so sexy.....
