Hopefully that's the case, but seeing as how the Beatles are marketed, the worst thing that can happen to the original is that it'd be forgotten in favor of this new thing.

Yeahhhhh I...don't see any reason why future generations are going to need a replacement for the original 2D masterpiece. Especially shiny Disney 3D. Barf.
